Every once in a while, a little itch in my wallet (or a lack of toilet paper) entices me to go to Target. Nicole, Adam, and I hit the aisles hard, then went to Uno's for $3.50 cheeseburgers in the lounge.
Nicole is rocking her new Le Tote favorites (a StyleStalker top that Scarlett O'Hara would kill for, and a pair of golden Adia K. chandelier earrings), both of which she's keeping from her latest shipment.
I decided to wear my most challenging Le Tote piece: the Maison Scotch Paula Sweater.
Three-quarter sleeve, faux leather accents, and who doesn't love a good peplum? Cute, right? Except that it fits terribly. The top around the shoulders and at the armpit was really loose, and the peplum was actually tight on my hips. I don't claim to be a fit model, but I feel as though I'm somewhat proportionate. In short, stay away from this one unless you have very narrow hips.
But! In the spirit of Style Le Tote, I thought I'd give it a go. I tucked the top into a circle skirt, threw on a drop-shoulder cardigan and some suede platform booties, and voila!
The best part of this top is the texture, and now that's all you see.
